Based on solid principles and practices of teaching language to adults and developed by experienced language professionals, New Bridges materials:
– are designed for use in conservative cultures
– are easy for both new and experienced teachers to use
– are custom-made for educated adult learners who live in the Middle East
(but could be used anywhere in the world)
– are complete student and teacher textbooks, organized by subject matter
– are written in American English
– provide opportunities for students to develop real-world communication skills
in appropriate cultural contexts
– focus on developing student skills in speaking, listening, reading, writing,
and grammar
– are designed in grayscale on A4 paper
Each level of the materials:
– includes a student book (average of 145 pages)
– includes a teacher’s edition (average of 250 pages)
– is designed for 48 academic hours of instruction (although we recommend that Book
4 and Book 5 be stretched to 96 hours of instruction)
